The Elk that we thought were Raindeer
Taken March 27, Easter Sunday, Drive on Mt Rainier

We found out that what we thought were Raindeer were actually Elk. Yeah I'm laughing about that too.

A chocolate cake with white icing and three colorful roses in the center. It says Happy Birthday Cindy. I am surprised he didnt have 'punk' on it. Oh yeah he didnt forget the candles either, a '4' and a '0', yah!!

A lavender gift bag with Good Charlotte 'The Chronicles of Life and Death', a mp3/cd player, a small box of Godiva chocolates and a cute bday card. It all is so cool and I was tickled to get the cd player. I have been wanting one or something similar to tote around. The cd will probably end up being claimed by my daughter but that's alright too.

What better song to hear on your birthday?

You come in cold
You're covered in blood
They're all so happy you've arrived
The doctor cuts your cord
He hands it to your mom
She sets you free into this life
And where do you go?
No destination, no map to guide you
Wouldn't you know
It doesn't matter we all end up the same

Chorus:
These are the chronicles of life and death
And everything between
These are the stories of our lives as fictional as they may seem
You come in this world
And you go out just the same
Today could be the best day of your life

And money talks, in this world that's what idiots will say
but you'll find out, that this world is just an idiot's parade
Before you go
You've got some questions that you want answered
But now your old, cold, covered in blood
And right back to where you started from

Chorus:
These are the chronicles of life and death
And everything between
These are the stories of our lives as fictional as they may seem
You come in this world
And you go out just the same
Today could be the worst day of your life

But these are the chronicles of life and death
And everything between
These are the stories of our lives as fictional as they may seem
You come in this world
And you go out just the same
Today could be the best day of
Today could be the worst day of
Today could be the last day of
Your life
It's your life
Your life

This will be my last post that I write in my thirties. Ah, it isn't that bad, i'm laughing at myself more then anything but it does make me just a little sad...give me that.

I do not have near the grey hair that my husband has. He is three months older. He is having a blast teasing me about this. "Lordy, Lordy look who's forty!"

Yeah he was teasing me really bad when he came in this evening from work. I know it was all in fun but it was all good until he started, then I really got to thinking about it. It takes my breath away a bit. I will be forty in little over an hour.

So...as I turn out my light tonight, I will whisper very low..."happy birthday to me".

One picture taken of many on the drive up Mt. Rainier

Taken on Easter Sunday - March 27, 2005

We drove up Mt. Rainier after Easter dinner but had to turn around because the road was closed due to snow. All we saw was rain. It was still a nice drive and I got a few pictures on my digital camera.

We saw a heard of what we think were Raindeer in someone's backyard. There was no fence but they were feeding. We were not sure if they were wild or what but it was an awesome sight to see.
