Taken October 11, 2006
After Christmas 2005, I noticed Erie was getting mats in his fur. His coat is usually very long and thick. In all of his seven years, I have never had to worry about grooming him. It really shocked me that he had stopped grooming.
When the mats first started I was able to clip them out, during December, but later it did get really bad. He would become very upset with me if I tried to help him. During our packing and our move, I think it only stressed him out more and made the situation worse. Unfortunately I had to have him shaved. I took him to the vet expecting them to use something to relax him. They didnt need to do that and he was just fine. I was so surprised and thankful to get him some relief.

Thursday, May 04, 2006 These are photos of my new flower bed and taken on 10 days of being planted. Monday April 24, 2006 planted 2 Pink Knock Out Rose Bushes, 2 Shasta Daisy Snowcaps, 2 Delphiniums, 2 Floristan Violets, and 2 Lupinus, not familiar with all the names but looking forward to their blooms.
The little blue floral was already here.

That celestial globe is solid concrete and heavy

More blue floral that was already planted.

These are the pink rose bushes.
The following Saturday April 29, after planting these, we added the thistle feeder and hanging bird bath.
And that yellow finch is still hanging around *big smile*

Taken May 04, 2006 - First Finch To Visit
He stayed around for a long time. I think I first saw him at 2:00 pm and he didn't leave until Erie jumped up on his window seat. That was well after 3:00 pm. This is going to be awesome if he visits regularly and hope he brings his friends with him too.

Taken March 27, Easter Sunday, Drive on Mt Rainier
We found out that what we thought were Raindeer were actually Elk. Yeah I'm laughing about that too.

Taken on Easter Sunday - March 27, 2005
We drove up Mt. Rainier after Easter dinner but had to turn around because the road was closed due to snow. All we saw was rain. It was still a nice drive and I got a few pictures on my digital camera.
We saw a heard of what we think were Raindeer in someone's backyard. There was no fence but they were feeding. We were not sure if they were wild or what but it was an awesome sight to see.
