This is Erie, named for Lake Erie where we were living when he came into our lives and pronounced like eerie. He is awesome with such a strong and independent personality but so loving and such a wonderful friend.

Erie has long thick beautiful fur. About twice a year I need to get him shaved. In the last couple of years he has continue to neglect grooming his hair. When I asked the vet about this, she assured me he was healthy but he was just getting lazy in his adult years and he is huge! It is probably difficult for him to reach his back, and he certainly will not let me do it.
